Price per piece (¢/pc) = the set's price in cents ÷ its official piece count. It's the LEGO community's standard value shorthand — and based on the 1,548 current Amazon-listed sets we track, the real median is 10.1¢ per piece (official US RRPs, computed 2026-09-02).

Computed from every set in our US table on 2026-09-02 — quartiles of ¢ per piece:
- Good value: under 8.4¢/pc (the cheapest quarter of all sets)
- Typical: 8.4–12.3¢/pc (the middle half; median 10.1¢)
- Expensive: above 12.3¢/pc (the dearest quarter)
On Amazon Australia street prices (hand-checked, 85 sets) the median is 14.4¢/pc — quartiles 11.6¢ and 19.5¢.
